What’s new in the License Server version 11.17.2 build 37000

Option to send your License Server event data to Citrix Cloud

After you register your License Server with Citrix Cloud, you can choose to send your License Server’s event data to Citrix. This option is enabled by default and is available only after registration. For more information, see Collect License Server event data under Usage and Statistics section.

A what’s new modal window

From this release onwards, when you launch your Citrix Licensing Manager a modal window appears that provides information about:

• Features that are newly available
• Features that are already available, but currently disabled on your Citrix Licensing Manager
• Network-related issues and recommended steps to mitigate them

What’s new in the License Server version 11.17.2 build 36000

Support for 4096 key size in self-signed certificates

From this release onwards, the key size supported in self-signed certificates is 4096 only. Uninstall the existing License Server and install the upgraded version (11.17.2.0 build 36000) which contains the 4096 key length self-signed certificate. Windows Server 2022 support

A support bundle to troubleshoot License Server issues

A support bundle (.zip file) contains information that Citrix Support team uses to troubleshoot and debug license server issues. You can use this file to initiate a Citrix support call or to provide documentation to Citrix or its agents for license compliance purposes. For more information, see Support Bundle.

Lmadmin.exe transitioned to Lmgrd.exe

In this release, the Citrix License Server’s existing user management lmadmin.exe is transitioned to Citrix owned user management lmgrd.exe for improved security and less third party dependencies.
