Windows Server 2022 support 编辑

The Citrix components, features, and technologies in this release that support Windows Server platforms now also support Windows Server 2022, unless otherwise noted.

Known issues

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

• When using Skype, the camera might not work correctly after the network is temporarily disconnected. [HDX-29950]

• A red cross might appear on client-mapped drives inside the VDA sessions. [HDX-29984]

• Windows Ink pen shortcuts might not set correctly on the VDA. [HDX-30097]

• When the Auto Client Reconnect authentication policy is set on the Delivery Controller, the session fails to reconnect. The session also disconnected when connectivity is restored using the Auto Client Reconnect policy. [HDX-32475]

• After a session roams, client mapped drives might not reconnect to the session. [HDX-32584]

• (Applies only to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service.) When creating an MCS catalog from a virtual machine that was created from a paid Azure Marketplace image, the following error appears: Creating a virtual machine image from Marketplace image or a custom image sourced from a Marketplace image requires Plan information in the request. This issue occurs because a paid image requires a billing mechanism that is missing in the Azure plan description for the virtual machine. [PMCS-18326]

• Machines cannot be powered cycled on various hypervisors. [PMCS-18325]

• Provisioned target devices using MCSIO do not support Windows Server 2022 as a Hyper-V VM. [PVS-8663]

Citrix Provisioning

• Provisioning images using the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops setup wizard and the streaming VM wizard fail to create target devices when using Windows 2022 as the hypervisor. [PVS-8504]

• Imaging a Windows 2022 system then booting from the virtual disk causes Windows to initiate crash recovery. [PVS-8791]

• Windows 2022 Hyper-V Gen 1 VMs are not supported as provisioned target devices.

Profile Management

• With the Enable search index roaming for Outlook feature enabled, the following error message appears when users search for emails in Microsoft Outlook: Something went wrong and your search couldn’t be completed. The issue occurs because Profile Management fails to hook the relevant APIs to the Windows Search service. [UPM-3535]

Workspace Environment Management

• When you attempt to configure Windows Server 2022 as the matching result of a filter condition (with Client OS as the filter condition type), you find that Windows Server 2022 is missing from the Matching Result menu. [WEM-14036]
