contentStyleType - SVG: Scalable Vector Graphics 编辑

Deprecated

This feature is no longer recommended. Though some browsers might still support it, it may have already been removed from the relevant web standards, may be in the process of being dropped, or may only be kept for compatibility purposes. Avoid using it, and update existing code if possible; see the compatibility table at the bottom of this page to guide your decision. Be aware that this feature may cease to work at any time.

The contentStyleType attribute specifies the style sheet language for the given document fragment on the <svg> element.

This language is used for all instances of style that do not specify their own styling language, such as the style attribute that is available on many elements. The value specifies a media type, per MIME Part Two: Media Types [RFC2046].

Usage notes

ValueOne of the content types specified in the Media Types
Default valuetext/css
AnimatableNo

Since CSS is the only widely deployed style sheet language for online styling and it's already defined as default value if contentStyleType is ommitted, the attribute is not well supported in user agents. If other style sheet languages become more popular they might not use the style attribute, instead it could be easily declared which style language is used in the <style>'s type attribute.

The use of contentStyleType is therefore deprecated.
