言 Coarse, crude, rough, immature words or talk; evil words. Rough, outline, preliminary words, e. g. Hnayna in contrast with Mahyna. The rough-and-ready, or cruder ' words and method of 诫 prohibitions from evil, in contrast with the more refined method of 劝 exhortation to good.
