This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.
The ::-moz-range-thumb
CSS pseudo-element is a Mozilla extension that represents the thumb (i.e., virtual knob) of an <input>
of type="range"
. The user can move the thumb along the input's track to alter its numerical value.
Note: Using ::-moz-range-thumb
with anything but an <input type="range">
doesn't match anything and has no effect.
