Unfortunately, at the time of this writing there are two nsIExtensionManager Interfaces:

• nsIExtensionManager (Toolkit) - needs short summary
• nsIExtensionManager (Suite) - needs short summary

Note that Firefox 4 has replaced use of nsIExtensionManager in favor of Add-on Manager.
