Command-line interface 编辑
The xe command line interface (CLI) enables you to script and automate system administration tasks. Use the CLI to integrate Citrix Hypervisor into an existing IT infrastructure. The xe CLI is installed by default on all Citrix Hypervisor servers.
Using the xe CLI on Windows
On Windows, the xe.exe
command is installed along with Citrix Hypervisor Center.
To use the xe.exe
command, open a Windows Command Prompt and change directories to the directory where the xe.exe
file is located (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\CitrixHypervisorCenter
). If you add the xe.exe
installation location to your system path, you can use the command without having to change into the directory.
Remote connection parameters on Windows
When using the xe.exe
to connect to a remote Citrix Hypervisor server, you must specify connection parameters. These remote connection parameters take the form of a shorthand switch followed by a value, for example: -x value
. The following parameters are required:
-s <server>
Specify the server to run the command on. The value for this parameter can be a host name or an IP address.-u <username>
The user name of a user with sufficient permissions to run the command on the server.-pw <password
The password that is associated with the user name.
Example: On a Citrix Hypervisor server:
xe vm-list
