VM Name and Description 编辑

Enter the name of the new VM in the Name box. You can choose any name you like, but a descriptive name is best. Although it is advisable to avoid having multiple VMs with the same name, it is not a requirement. Citrix Hypervisor Center does not enforce any uniqueness constraints on VM names.

You can more easily manage different VMs if you give them meaningful names. For example, include one of the following pieces of information in the VM name:

• The operating system of the VM (Windows 10 64-bit)
• The application software on the VM (Citrix Hypervisor Web Self-Service v1.0 (Build 9057))
• The role of the VM (db-server, Outlook Server, Test).

It is not necessary to use quotation marks for names that include spaces.
