Management and Monitoring

ADM checks for classic policies before creating an ADC upgrade job

When creating an ADC upgrade job in ADM, now ADM checks for existing classic policies because from ADC version 13.1, classic policies are no longer supported. The pre-upgrade validation report displays an error message if the classic policies are found in an instance. Remove such policies before creating the upgrade job.

Note: Before upgrading your ADC instance to 13.1, remove or migrate classic policies to advanced policies

Analytics

Improvements to RTT calculation

Citrix ADC instances might not able to calculate the RTT value for some transactions. For such transactions, the web transaction analytics and Web Insight in ADM display the RTT value as < 1 ms.

The RTT calculation for such transactions is improved and ADM now displays the following RTT values as:

• NA Displays when the ADC instance cannot calculate the RTT.
• < 1 ms Displays when the ADC instance calculates the RTT in decimals between 0 ms and 1 ms. For example, 0.22 ms.

StyleBooks

New default StyleBook to deploy SNMP configurations

A new default StyleBook for deploying SNMP configurations on ADC instances. In the ADM GUI, go to Applications > StyleBooks. Search for the StyleBook by typing the name snmp\_configuration.

Analytics

In App Dashboard, when you drill down an application and in the Web Insight tab, the See more option under Clients does not work. This issue is also observed in Applications > Web Insight.

Web Insight data does not populate properly if the application name contains a space.

The ADM analytics reporting data retained for the configured data persistence duration.

While backing up an ADC instance that has been upgraded and is running on an SDX instance, ADM backs up the upgraded ADC image even if the same XVA image is already present in ADM.

If ADC instances are registered on ADM, processing events for change of service states can cause high memory usage on ADM.

ADM incorrectly displays the configuration audit of ADC instances for monthly data.

In the SDX Management Service GUI, if a non-nsroot user with custom user credentials tries to add ADM as a licensing server, the Not Authorized error appears.

ADC sends incorrect values for the failure objects if the virtual server name is too long. With this fix, the following SNMP traps change the service name of a virtual server to the service full name:

• svcGrpMemberMaxClients

When you try to license more than 30 virtual servers on an on-premises ADM deployed as a microservice, using SDK, ADM does not display NITRO exceptions.

Analytics

In Application Dashboard, the application details page displays current day’s data as next day’s data. This issue occurs when you select an interval greater than one day. And, it is observed only under App score and Issue sections.

User Interface

When you export a license usage report, the tabular data is not exported correctly.

The configuration template does not display the command line numbers if they are more than two digits. With this fix, it supports up to six digits.

In Infrastructure > Configuration Jobs, when you hover on the renamed configuration template, it displays the old name. With this fix, you can add a description to the template. Now, this description appears when you hover on the template.

Management and Monitoring

When you upgrade an ADC instance by using ADM maintenance jobs, after the instance restarts, the upgraded ADC image version does not appear. The GUI still shows the old image version under the Citrix ADC instance page.

Analytics

When you enable analytics on a virtual server, some required information might be lost between ADC and ADM. As a result, the transaction data becomes invalid and unavailable on the ADM reports.

Orchestration

When you create a member on OpenStack Load Balancer as a Service (LBaaS) using ADM orchestration, the member creation fails on OpenStack intermittently. This issue happens when a proxy request from ADM to orchestration services times out after 30 seconds. With this fix, the request timeout for orchestration APIs has increased to 120 seconds.

[NSHELP-21490]

If you are using OpenStack Queens for Load Balancer as a Service (LBaaS) workflow, the Load Balancing virtual server is not bound to the Content Switching virtual server. This issue impacts the traffic.

Workaround:

1. Create a pool with Load Balancing virtual server.
2. Create a listener with the pool ID.

If you already have a listener, update the listener with the pool ID.
