What’s new

Upgrade support for Citrix ADC BLX instances

In Infrastructure > Upgrade Jobs, you can now create a job to upgrade Citrix ADC BLX instances. You must select the appropriate build image (applicable for Ubuntu or Red Hat) for a successful upgrade. For more information, see Upgrade Jobs.

Fixed Issues

The issues that are addressed in Build 13.1–27.62.

Management and Monitoring

• Consider that a user assigned to the following two groups has logged in to Citrix ADM:

  • Readonly Roles for all applications and all instances

  • Read and write permissions for a few load balancing virtual servers

  In Infrastructure > Network Functions > Load Balancing, the user that has privilege only to the assigned read and write virtual servers also gets privilege to the read-only virtual servers.

• If your Citrix ADM has more than 80 managed instances inclusive of admin partitions and when you try to use the poll now option for the virtual servers in Infrastructure > Network Functions, the polling is not triggered for all ADC instances at the same time.

• When you delete an external Syslog server on ADM, a log message is sent to the external syslog server indicating that the delete operation is initiated.

• In SSL dashboard, the Issuer information of the SSL certificates is not displayed.

• In Infrastructure > Upgrade Jobs, when you create an upgrade job, the Pre-upgrade validation check fails.

• When you navigate to Infrastructure > License Settings, select all the expired licenses, and then click Delete to delete all the expired pooled licenses, all the pooled license expiry events are also cleared automatically.

• User with read-only access in ADM and also associated with CVAD is not able to access ADM GUI.

• In Infrastructure > Event Summary > Syslog Messages, the data was displayed only for the last 30 days. With this fix, the data is displayed for up to 180 days.

• Citrix ADM sends incomplete Syslog messages to an external server because the limitation of a syslog message is 480 bytes.

• When you navigate to Infrastructure > SSL Dashboard > SSL Certificates page, click the Export icon, and download the report in CSV format, the domain information is not exported and appears blank.

High Availability

ADM HA primary IP does not respond to SNMP GET requests.

StyleBooks

When you upgrade Citrix ADM from any older builds to 13.1.27.x build, Citrix ADM rolls back the existing ConfigPacks to its earlier version.

Workaround: Upgrade to the latest version of Citrix ADM.

Analytics

When you enable analytics on a virtual server, some required information might be lost between ADC and ADM. As a result, the transaction data becomes invalid and is unavailable on the ADM reports.

Infrastructure

When multiple SNMP users are created simultaneously using a script, the SNMP requests to ADM fail.

Workaround:

Create the SNMP users manually.

• When you navigate to Infrastructure > License Settings, select all the expired licenses and then click the Delete button to delete all the expired pooled licenses, all the pooled license expiry events are also cleared automatically.

• In Gateway > HDX Insight, the data is not displayed because of the database corruption.

• In ADM HA pair, the database status observed to be in Down status and not synchronizing even after trying with Sync Database option in the GUI for several times.
