This release notes document describes the enhancements and changes, fixed and known issues that exist for the Citrix ADM release Build 13.1–21.53.

Notes

• This release notes document does not include security related fixes. For a list of security related fixes and advisories, see the Citrix security bulletin.

• Build 13.0-21.53 and later builds address the security vulnerabilities described in https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX460016.

• Build 21.53 replaces Build 21.50.

Management and Monitoring

Support for the ShowConfiguration template

In the Configuration Editor, when you select Batch Configuration, you can now use the ShowConfiguration template. Drag the ShowConfiguration template to the right pane and enter the show commands to run on Citrix ADC instances.

For example, you can enter commands such as sh ns info, sh node, sh ns stats, and sh interface, shell ls /var/tmp and view the output.

You can download the output of the commands as a text file.

New network reports in ADM

The following new network reports are added as the total counters:

• Authentication Success vs Failures

• HTTP Authentication Success vs Failures

• Non-HTTP Authentication Success vs Failures

• Authentication, authorization, and auditing Sessions

• Current Authentication, authorization, and auditing Sessions

• Current ICAOnly Sessions

• Current ICAOnly Connections

• Current ICA(Smart Access) Connections

You can use these counters to add thresholds and receive notifications. For more information see Network reporting.

Fixed Issues

The issues that are addressed in Build 13.1–21.53.

High Availability

In an ADM high-availability pair, if you run a replication script on the primary node instead of secondary node, the ADM GUI becomes unreachable and the database streaming channel breaks between the nodes. With this fix, the script can now run only on the secondary ADM node.

Management and Monitoring

• The ADM GUI does not display the model ID for the VPX instances that are hosted on an SDX appliance (specifically 15XXX, 26XXX).

• Citrix ADM sends incomplete Syslog messages to an external server because the limitation of a syslog message is 480 bytes.

User Interface

When a malicious config advice file is uploaded with an extension .conf, Citrix ADM fails to detect and block this file. With this fix, Citrix ADM protects against uploading malicious files.

Known Issues

The issues that exist in release 13.1–21.53.

StyleBooks

When you upgrade Citrix ADM from any older builds to 13.1.21.x build, Citrix ADM rolls back the existing ConfigPacks to its earlier version.

Workaround: Upgrade to the latest version of Citrix ADM.

Infrastructure

When multiple SNMP users are created simultaneously using a script, the SNMP requests to ADM fail.

Workaround:

Create the SNMP users manually.

Management and Monitoring

• In Infrastructure > Event Summary > Syslog Messages, the data was displayed only for the last 30 days. With this fix, the data is displayed for up to 180 days.

• Sometimes, the Syslog Messages page in Infrastructure > Events > Syslog Messages does not display the data and shows an error message.

• In Gateway > HDX Insight, the data is not displayed because of the database corruption.

• In ADM HA pair, the database status observed to be in Down status and not synchronizing even after trying with Sync Database option in the GUI for several times.

• Citrix ADM console displays an error message if a Second NIC is configured.

• When you enable analytics on a virtual server, some required information might be lost between ADC and ADM. As a result, the transaction data becomes invalid and is unavailable on the ADM reports.
