Modify Autoscale Groups 编辑
Modify Autoscale Groups
After you configure an Autoscale group, you can edit or delete the Autoscale group. Also, you can do the following operations with the Autoscale group:
- Enable or disable
- Shutdown or boot-up
- Troubleshoot ADC clusters
Edit an Autoscale group configuration
To edit an Autoscale group configuration, do the following:
Go to Infrastructure > Public Cloud > Autoscale Group.
Select the Autoscale group that you want to edit.
Click Edit.
You can edit only the following Autoscale group parameters:
Maximum and minimum limits of the threshold parameters
Minimum and maximum instance values
Drain connection period value
Cooldown period value
Watch duration value
Enable or disable an Autoscale group
When you select an Autoscale group, in Select Action, Enable or Disable the Autoscale group. If the Autoscale group is disabled, autoscaling doesn’t happen on this group.
Shutdown or boot-up an Autoscale group
When you select an Autoscale group, in Select Action, Shutdown or Boot-up the Autoscale group. If you shut the Autoscale group down, it doesn’t receive any application traffic.
View and troubleshoot ADC clusters
In Citrix ADM, you can view and troubleshoot the ADC clusters that are part of an Autoscale group. To view the ADC clusters, do the following:
Go to Infrastructure > Public Cloud > Autoscale Group.
Select the Autoscale group for which you want to view the clusters.
Click View Clusters.
You can do the following operations on the selected ADC cluster:
Retry – Use this option when the cluster creation fails. This option appears only when the autoscaling fails. You can view the status and error message for the failed cluster.
Clean Up – This option reverts failed operation. Use this option if the errors are not fixed after you retry the cluster creation.
Recreate – This option deletes the existing cluster and replaces it with a new cluster. And, the application configurations are transferred to the new ADC cluster.
Important
This action impacts the application traffic because of the replaced ADC cluster.
Delete an Autoscale group
To delete an Autoscale group configuration, do the following:
Go to Infrastructure > Public Cloud > Autoscale Group.
Select the Autoscale group that you want to delete.
Click Delete.
When an Autoscale group is deleted, all the domains and IP addresses are deregistered from DNS and the cluster nodes are de-provisioned.
