The seven concentric mountain ranges around Sumeru, the central mountain of a universe, each range separated from the others by a sea; see 九山八海. Their names are 持只, 持轴, 双木 (双木树), 担见, 马耳 , 障碍 (or 象鼻), 持地 (or 远) 山.
