七种语
Buddha's seven modes of discourse: 因语 from present cause to future effect; 果语 from present effect to past cause; 因果语 inherent cause and effect; 语 illustrative or figurative; 不应语 spontaneous or parabolic; 世界流语 ordinary or popular; 如意语 unreserved, or as he really thought, e.g. as when he said that all things have the Buddha-nature.
