I encountered this error when I was a user on the Luna without the role privilege to use SCP. The user had been created with a custom template and the scp privilege had been left off.

This can be caused when you attempt to copy more than one file to the HSM. The SSH service on the appliance only accepts one file at a time.
Using
pscp.exeor anyscpvariant with wildcards or multiple source files will result in this error.To resolve, copy files individually.
