Also, I'm still trying to understand how to pose this question on this forum. I guess what's confusing me is that I don't see an "ask a follow up question" button.

您的平台目标是什么？ Blend一般要使用AnyCPU。下降到特定的指令集（例如 x86 或 x64）会让 Blend 不高兴。
What is your platform target? Blend generally wants to use AnyCPU. Dropping down to a specific instruction set (x86 or x64, for example) makes Blend unhappy.
