 var pd = DependencyPropertyDescriptor.FromProperty(TextBox.TextProperty, typeof(TextBox));
 pd.AddValueChanged(myTextBox, OnTextChanged);

 }

Here is one way of doing it, using the handy DependencyPropertyDescriptor class.

 var pd = DependencyPropertyDescriptor.FromProperty(TextBox.TextProperty, typeof(TextBox));
 pd.AddValueChanged(myTextBox, OnTextChanged);


 private void OnTextChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
 {

 }
