va7410问题
有台va7410 前段时间坏了一块硬盘,前天去把盘拔下来换了一块,但是截止到今天,阵列还是一直有一个警告,如下:
WARNING: The host indicated that hot spare space reservation was desired, but the space left unallocated was insufficient to provide the reservation.
之前坏盘的时候,也有这个警告,我觉得是坏盘引起的,现在armdsp -a 看,所有的设备status都是good.这个应该是警告说没有hotspare空间,请问我该怎么操作呢。

看到你的VA有设置Hot Spare为Automatic,出现那个Warning是因为阵列没有足够的空间符合定义的spare空间的要求(假设所有盘都为73G,如果阵列的盘数少于等于15个,那就需要73GB作为spare空间;如果阵列的盘数大于15个,那就需要2X73GB作为spare空间)。当然如果你把spare的Automatic设置禁止的话,我相信不会再出现那个Warning的,但这不是最好的方法,毕竟有hotspare空间比较安全。而我看到你的2个RG的可用空间不多(Active Hot Spare都没有),所以你根据前面要求加盘就行了(要保留数据的话可能需要扩容了)。
PS: 原来没有自动加进去,呵~电气的东西,摸不着脾气呢。。

经过检查,发现我更换的那块盘没有正常的include进去,虽然autoinclude是on的状态,于是我手工进行了armcfg -D M/D2 -a array 的操作,之后就正常了
