FC4装上MySQL启动服务失败?? 一些目录也没创建.

我在FC4上按顺序安装以下:

MySQL-devel-5.0.18-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-shared-5.0.18-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-client-5.0.18-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-server-5.0.18-0.i386.rpm

用rpm -ivh和rpm -Uvh都试过了,在装完MySQL-server-5.0.18-0.i386.rpm后,启动服务失败

发现/var/run/下面的myslqd也没创建

rpm -qa | grep SQL 发现4个包均装上

会是什么原因呢?

第一次调试SQL,望请各位解答一下,谢谢!!!!

顶一下了，重装了一遍FC4和重新下载了一遍MySQL还是这个样子

我用 rpm -q MySQL
提示not installed

但却看到rpm -qa | grep SQL都装上了.....
