人类的听觉不见得只依赖耳膜振动。人类的听觉通常受其他感官影响,甚至很可能有人类尚未确认的感官(例如中医说的气、后眼等等)。然而计算学家的当前进度,仅仅分析了麦克风(模仿耳膜振动)汲取到的数据。
