Add the paths to all of your template files to your
tailwind.config.js./config/tailwind.config.js
file./** @type {import('tailwindcss').Config} */ module.exports = { content: [ './public/*.html', './app/helpers/**/*.rb', './app/javascript/**/*.js', './app/views/**/*', ], theme: { extend: {}, }, plugins: [], }
Add the Tailwind directives to your CSS
Add the
application.tailwind.css@tailwind
directives for each of Tailwind's layers to yourapplication.tailwind.css
file located in the./app/assets/stylesheets
directory.@tailwind base; @tailwind components; @tailwind utilities;
Start your build process
Run your build process with
Terminal./bin/dev
../bin/dev
Start using Tailwind in your project
